Lobster with Garlic Vegetables and Noodles

This dish is quick to cook and makes a delicious, warming meal, perfect for the Winter months and loved by all the family.


  • 200g Noodles - either fresh or dried
  • 250g Lobster meat chunks
  • 50g Salted butter
  • 90g Mushrooms - sliced
  • 2 Spring onions - chopped
  • 3 Garlic cloves - crushed
  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp Brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Chilli flakes


1.  Cook and then drain the noodles, according to the instructions on the packet.

2.  Saute the mushrooms, spring onions and garlic in the butter, on a gentle heat. Retain a handful of the onions, to add at the end of cooking.

3.  Stir in the oyster sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil and chilli flakes.

4.  Add the cooked noodles to the pan and mix well with the mushrooms and sauce.

5.  Finally, gently toss the lobster meat and the retained spring onions with the noodles. 

6.  Leave on a low heat for a few minutes to allow the lobster chunks to warm through.

Serves 4

*The ingredients in this recipe can be easily substituted - pasta can be used instead of noodles, other vegetables can be added, such as peppers, and the addition of the chilli flakes can be adjusted depending on your taste.

**This recipe can also be served chilled, in the Summer months, using rice noodles.
